From concept to production - Over the last few months Pro Alloy have been working closely with the design and engineering team at Langen Motorcycles in support of the eagerly anticipated launch of the companies all new model, the Langen Lightspeed LS12.

This handcrafted machine is quoted by the company as an ‘exceptional motorcycle which is a testament to the artistry and meticulous attention to detail that Langen Motorcycles put into every machine’.

With the cooling package such a visible and integral part of most motorcycle styling and design, the Pro Alloy team were tasked with some difficult engineering challenges to design, develop and produce complexed curved and tapered water and oil heat exchangers which mirrored the conceptual artistry, innovation and vision of the Langen designers, whilst still providing the necessary cooling capabilities for the machines monstrous 1190cc 185bhp V-Twin power plant.

Pro Alloy benefit from total control over their own manufacturing, with their heat exchanger core production facility and skilled fabrication team all being housed at the companies UK facility near Cambridge, and were therefore able to meet the tight timescale requirements to ensure Langen were able to complete their production representative prototype ahead of the upcoming machine launch and the Motorcycle Live show at the NEC from the 18th November.

If you’re visiting the Motorcycle Live show, be sure to call along to the Langen Motorcycles stand (Hall 2 / Stand 2B10) and check out this beautifully engineered machine.
